Thomas B. WaitTom Wait is the managing partner in the Law Firm of Wait & Hufnagel in Claremont, California, and has developed special expertise in the defense and trial of matters involving premises liability, wrongful termination, products liability, toxic torts, trucking accidents, professional malpractice, construction defect, as well as general liability cases.

Additionally, he has represented several school districts and public entities in California, including Mt. San Antonio College, Fremont Unified School District, San Juan Unified School District, City of Gilroy and City and County of San Francisco.

Mr. Wait is a graduate of Denison University and received a B.A. degree in Political Science in 1973. In 1977, he received his J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law. While at U.S.F., he clerked for the California State Appellate Court and the Superior Court located in San Francisco.

Mr. Wait is admitted to practice before all the courts in the State of California and the Southern, Central and Northern Federal District Courts. He has acted as monitoring counsel for the Pacific Claims Executives Association and the California Association of Independent Insurance Adjusters. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Association of Defense Counsel of Southern California, the Defense Research Institute and the Trucking Industry Defense Association. He is a member of ABOTA (American Board of Trial Advocates). Over the course of his career, Mr. Wait has an excellent trial record and he has received an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

Mr. Wait has been the principal speaker before various insurance groups on selected topics of law and has appeared as a guest lecturer at numerous continuing education seminars.
